About this Role

The Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust (ODBST) is a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) which operates across Buckinghamshire, including Milton Keynes.  We are a family of thirteen schools with an ambitious and exciting programme of growth.

Our core values of Inclusivity, Community, Service and Empowerment resonate with our beliefs for the ODBST. Building on the uniqueness of our pupils, families and school communities, we strive to enable everyone to develop and thrive intellectually, socially, culturally and spiritually.

As a growing trust we are pleased to share this exciting opportunity for an HR Administrator to join our Shared Services Team.  The role will provide you with the opportunity to get involved in a variety of HR duties and to provide an efficient HR administration service for the schools in our Trust.  You will work closely with our HR team and staff across the ODBST schools.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a team player with a positive outlook and determination to succeed
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Have a pro-active, sensitive and confidential approach
  • Share our passion to want to make a difference and help support our colleague

This fantastic role is term time only including INSET days and will be a combination of working in our office (Longwick, Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire), supporting our schools (across Buckinghamshire) and working from home when appropriate.

Please see the attached job specification for further details.

The benefits of joining the Trust:

The ODBST family consists of 13 primary schools across Buckinghamshire, and we are delighted you are considering joining the Trust!

Being part of a Trust, makes you part of the family and this comes with many opportunities from CPD training and networking to in-house support and career development.

Whether your role is as a leader, local governing body member, teacher, HR or Operations, you contribute to our organisation and therefore to the lives and outcomes of our pupils and this is very much valued at the ODBST.

We are committed to our staff and offer benefits which include:

  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Extensive CPD, Coaching and Mentoring course and opportunities in-house and external
  • LGPS Pension
  • Term time only working

Finally, by being part of ODBST, you are becoming part of and impacting children’s futures, and we look forward to welcoming you to the team.

The ODBST is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment.  Post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check.  ODBST is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
