About this Role

The Brades Lodge site is a growing  provision  that currently educates and supports approximately 50 students in Key Stage 3 & 4 who experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.

As a member of the English Department, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Teach small groups; class size is approx. 8  students. 
  • Support students with a range of academic needs, from the gifted and talented pupils in need of stretch and challenge, to those working below age expected levels who require additional support. 
  • Be part of an adaptable, friendly and motivated staff team. 
  • Access high quality, relevant and meaningful CPD. 
  • Be part of an established, supportive department. 
  • Deliver AQA qualifications, including Step Up to English, GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature. 
  • Work in a caring, nurturing environment where the well being of both pupils and staff is a priority.
