Are you passionate about technology and eager to start a career in IT? Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is seeking a motivated Apprentice IT Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 IT Support Technician qualification.
Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice IT Technician, you will:
• Provide first-line technical support to staff and students.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Support the management of network infrastructure and security.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and support requests.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
• A strong interest in IT and technology.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
