About this Role

For September 2026, we are seeking a Teacher of Mathematics to join a strong, collaborative team, delivering well-planned, carefully sequenced lessons that develop students’ understanding, confidence and fluency in mathematics.

This is a proactive appointment, and school placement will be determined by the applicant’s location and the location of current or upcoming vacancies.

As part of Cornwall Education Learning Trust, Mathematics teachers benefit from a trust-developed curriculum, enabling staff to focus on high-quality delivery and adapting resources to meet the needs of their students, rather than starting from scratch.

The role is suitable for ECTs or experienced teachers. Applicants currently in training and pending QTS are also welcome to apply.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Lucy Gambier, Director of Secondary Education, at lgambier@celtrust.org

Cornwall Education Learning Trust is an equal opportunities employer and is also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  All offers of employment are subject to the satisfactory completion of safer recruitment checks and references including an enhanced DBS check.
