Salary: Point 11-14 of the Sixth Form Colleges’ Support Staff pay spine, which is currently £26,097- £28,549 per annum.
The Pinnacle Learning
Trust are looking to appoint a permanent Marketing and Content Creative
Officer, to commence as soon as possible.
This is an exciting
opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly organised
individual interested in marketing and communications and developing their
skills through real world experience. In joining our marketing team, you will
develop communication campaigns using social media across all platforms and
websites, to help create a positive media space for the Trust and Academies.
Supporting the development, creation and design of the Trust’s web
presence, digital promotions and communications. The role will be based at
Oldham Sixth Form College but could involve some travel to our other sites The
Hathershaw College, Werneth Primary School, Broadfield Primary and Alexandra
Park School. To work as a key member of the
Trust Marketing team to raise the profile of the Trust, its academies and its
various offers (e.g. professional development, community links, etc.) both
internally and externally. To be
responsible for the development, capture, creation and design of the Trust’s
digital, physical and information based promotional materials.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will work with our
Marketing Team on a wide range of promotional design projects, and related
social media channels, ensuring design and branding is on par with Trust
standards. You will possess
strong communication skills, which will enable you to work with trust staff and
external stakeholders, sharing clear messaging and content. The successful
candidate will work well as part of a team but will also be able to take on
work independently, having excellent written and communication skills,
interpersonal and IT skills, with an eye for detail.
Working with the
Marketing Team on a wide range of promotional design projects, and related
website and social media channels, ensuring design and branding is on par with
Trust standards. Taking the lead on select projects, developing, creating and
designing content to drive the Trust’s online presence, digital promotions and
communications.
The Pinnacle Learning Trust
The Pinnacle Learning Trust was established in 2017 as a result of the long-standing, strong and effective relationship between The Hathershaw College and Oldham Sixth Form College. Werneth Primary School joined our Trust in February 2019, Broadfield Primary School in April 2023 and most recently; Alexandra Park Junior School in April 2024. Our work is built upon our shared belief that young people in Oldham and the local area should have access to excellent educational provision. The Trust’s central services teams include: HR and Payroll, IT Services and MIS, Finance and Estates. Their aim is to enhance the experience of students and staff across the Trust by providing effective and efficient central services which support them to achieve their goals.
Our Trust invests in
each member of staff, offering them professional development opportunities,
including an extensive in-house professional development offer for both
teachers and support staff, in areas such as: Leadership, Teaching and
Learning, Mental Health First Aid and role specific training. In addition, our staff have the opportunity to
contribute to the professional development of others through designation as
Evidence Leads in Education for the Research School; delivery of
school-to-school support; support for trainee teachers and involvement with our
work as a strategic partner with the East Manchester Teaching School Hub and
our Science Learning Partnership Hub.
