About this Role

Due to the internal promotion of the current post holder,  we are seeking an exceptional Finance Partner to join our central finance team and play a pivotal role in supporting schools across the Trust. If you are passionate about delivering high quality financial leadership, enjoy collaborative working, and want to make a difference in an organisation that puts children at the heart of its decisions, we would love to hear from you!

You will advise and assist the Senior Leadership Team (“SLT”) of your allocated academies to develop financial plans, budgets and forecasts. You will also assist with the monitoring of these budgets by preparing monthly management reports and responding to requests for financial information. This role requires a finance professional who can use support and analysis to become a trusted partner to our academy leaders.

If you would like to discuss the role or would like any further information, please contact Janet Cawley, Senior Finance Partner, by emailing info@spencertrust.org.uk

If you are interested in joining us, please apply as soon as possible as we may close the vacancy early.

Spencer Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and young people. Therefore, we expect everyone to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced criminal records with Barred List Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and the completion of Level 2 Safeguarding training. It is an offence to apply for the role if an applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children (where the role involves this type of regulated activity).

The Trust and its member academies are committed to promoting equality and diversity in both employment and education provision. We aim to ensure that students, parents, governors, employees, contractors, partners, clients and other stakeholders within the Trust community are treated fairly, and with dignity and respect regardless of Protected Characteristics.

Spencer Academies Trust is a Disability Confident Committed Employer
