About this Role

We are looking to appoint a Financial Systems and Reporting Officer to work directly for Slough and East Berkshire Church of England Multi-Academy Trust (SEBMAT).

The Trust has been established to form a group of 7 academies which can support each other to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people in Slough and the nearby areas. It includes primary and secondary academies and has a Christian faith ethos.

The Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic professional, who has high expectations of themselves and are committed to improving the lives of our pupils.

Main responsibilities for this role:

To prepare monthly management account reports with accuracy using IMP budget planning tool

To keep budget planning systems updated and reflecting current scenarios in schools

To liaise with schools on overspends/underspends/latest estimates of spending to update forecast

To be able to work at any school or business of the Trust as the need arises 

To assist wherever required within the Finance Team of the Trust, be it at the Core or a School

The ideal candidate will have prior proven experience in a similar role and be proficient in financial management systems. Previous exposure to the education sector would be advantageous.

Applicants must demonstrate the flexibility to work efficiently in a busy and fast-moving environment, attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
