The Sir John Brunner Foundation is looking to appoint a HR Business Partner to join the central team. This is a new role, established following a reorganisation to a centralised HR shared service and business partnering model.
Pivotal in aligning HR
strategies with the objectives of the Foundation, the HR Business Partner will
work within a centralised HR team, providing a critical link between the HR
function and the nominated academies.
In joining a welcoming,
experienced and professional HR team, the successful candidate should expect to
manage all aspects of people management to facilitate the delivery of the
Foundation’s strategic priorities. You will be an experienced HR practitioner
who is able to work proactively, communicate effectively and provide credible
advice and guidance to managers. You
will be enthusiastic, always consider what is best for our people and
organisation and strive for continuous improvement, thereby contributing
directly to the success of the Academies and children and families we serve.
Candidates will have strong generalist experience with excellent knowledge of employment legislation, however prior experience or particular interest in employee relations, organisational development and talent management and/or reward and benefits would be advantageous.
This is an exciting time to be joining our Multi Academy Trust, of three High Schools and a Sixth Form College, which collectively educates over 4300 children, and employs over 450 professionals, as we begin to centralise and raise the profile of our professional services.
Each of our good and outstanding academies operates at the heart of their local communities. The Foundation’s offices are based at Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College campus set in beautiful grounds. The other Academies, The County High School, Leftwich; Middlewich High School and The Macclesfield Academy are all based within Cheshire. Regular travel to the nominated academies will be required.
This is a highly sought-after
term time only contract, meaning the post holder will not be required to work
during school holidays providing an excellent work-life balance arrangement.
