What our 2024/2025 trainees had to say about the ITT programme?
Jibran, a former Langley Academy student, previously worked as an accountant. He is now bringing his expertise in finance to the classroom, applying his skills to inspire and educate
students as a maths teacher.
“Interaction with students is the thing I am enjoying the most…… The behaviour of students is outstanding and drives me every day to deliver lessons to the best of my ability.”
“I have learnt a plethora of academic knowledge, mainly on the pedagogy of teaching, but the most valuable thing I have learnt is that regardless of your background, teaching can be for anyone.
Previous trainees have said they felt supported by their mentors and appreciated learning in real classrooms.
One trainee said, “I have really enjoyed working with the students and having the opportunity to develop my teaching practice within a real classroom environment.”
