Equipping our trainees for 21st-century teaching
Our 11-month teacher training programme is delivered in partnership with Ambition Institute. At the end of the course, you will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

Our programme is backed by the latest evidence-based teaching research. You will learn the theory behind what makes an effective teacher and apply it directly in the classroom. Throughout your journey you will have the support by your mentors and peers.
Each module begins with key ideas and research that underpin great teaching.
You will have the opportunity to work step by step to put your learning into practice through:
Your day-to-day experience will include:
Primary and secondary pathways
Secondary training follows the same structure as primary, with at least 50% of weekly modules focused on your chosen subject. This allows you to deepen subject expertise alongside your core teacher training.

Training is primarily based in one of our schools with additional placements to broaden experience.

Fees and Funding
Tuition fees for our Teacher Training programme are £9,790.
Financial support is available through government bursaries, scholarships and maintenance loans.
