About Greater Manchester Education Trust

Greater Manchester Education Trust (GMET) was established in 2022 following the successful merger of two local multi-academy trusts. We currently oversee four academies and two sixth form colleges and one primary school, working in some of the most academically, socially, and ethnically diverse communities in the region.

GMET is a diverse and inclusive Trust for young people of all backgrounds in Greater Manchester. We are committed to providing the best learning, the best support, and a sense of belonging in our community so that every child and adult can fulfil their ambition and have a great future.

The trust is at an exciting point of growth and development, as the HR team continues to evolve, there is a need for a dedicated HR Administrator to support core processes and day to day operations.

About the Role

We are recruiting a Trust HR Administrator, a newly created role within the central HR Team, supporting the Trust as it continues to grow and strengthen its people processes.

The role has been established to deliver consistent, high‑quality HR administration across all Trust schools. Working closely with the central HR team, you will deliver core HR admin processes including recruitment and onboarding, employee records, HR systems and compliance.

You will manage the day‑to‑day operation of the Trust’s HR Information System, ensuring data accuracy and effective reporting. You will also provide administrative and coordination support during employee relations processes, handling sensitive information with professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.

About You

This role would suit someone with experience in HR or school administration who is highly organised, detail‑focused and ready to take on a Trust‑wide role within a central HR function.

Full details about the role and the qualifications, experience, and attributes required can be found in the attached Job Description and Person Specification.
