About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with individual children, encouraging their independence, confidence, and personal development within a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery setting
- Maintain up-to-date developmental records for key children
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to children’s needs and developmental stages
- Promote independence, self-motivation, and a love of learning
- Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and child welfare at all times
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Support the management team in meeting Ofsted requirements, including EYFS standards
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Undertake any additional duties as required
Person Specification
- NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Childcare & Education (essential)
- Passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
