About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with individual children, encouraging their independence, confidence, and personal development within a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery setting
  • Maintain up-to-date developmental records for key children
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to children’s needs and developmental stages
  • Promote independence, self-motivation, and a love of learning
  • Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and child welfare at all times
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Support the management team in meeting Ofsted requirements, including EYFS standards
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Undertake any additional duties as required

Person Specification

  • NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Childcare & Education (essential)
  • Passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
