35 hours a week, 52 weeks per year
Location: Hybrid – Central Office in Ely, remote working and regular travel to schools
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled IT Technicians to join our new IT Team.
The IT Technicians will support approximately 12 schools each across two geographical hubs so successful candidates will need to be able to travel to DEMAT schools.
The IT Technicians will provide comprehensive support and assistance to our schools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join DEMAT at the start of the transformation of IT across the Trust.
The ideal candidate will:
· have good knowledge of either Microsoft or Google environments, IT Systems and Networks;
· be able to work independently and with initiative;
· be well motivated and flexible;
· have strong problem-solving skills;
· ideally have experience and knowledge of an education environment;
· be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
The new IT team will be part of a wider central team who work across a number of functions including HR, Finance, Facilities, Governance and Education. We work in partnership towards the common goal of delivering an excellent education for our pupils and a supportive, enriching place to work for our staff.
