About the Role

City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking an exceptional Senior IT Technician to join our Central IT Team. You will play a key role in maintaining the Trust’s ICT systems and infrastructure to facilitate outstanding teaching, learning, administration, and leadership.

You will also act as the point of escalation for Technicians, providing high-level first-time fixes, investigating escalated incidents and resolving them within service targets.

This role is part of the Central IT Team primarily based at City of London Academy Islington (COLAI) with the main focus of providing COLAI with a high quality, comprehensive and efficient IT support function. You may be deployed to any Trust academy as required to provide on-site support.

About you

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is keen to apply their expertise and skills within an education setting. You will hold a recognised technician qualification at NVQ level 3 (or equivalent experience) and bring strong planning, organisational, and communication skills. An understanding of incident request and change management processes skills will support your ability to think creatively and deliver effective solutions to complex problems.
