About the Role

City of London Academies Trust is seeking an outstanding Senior IT Technician to join our expanding team. This is a key role, ensuring our ICT systems run smoothly and our academies have the reliable, highquality technology needed to support exceptional teaching and learning.

Based primarily at City of London Academy Islington (COLAI) and supported by the Central IT Team, you will lead on complex technical issues and deliver expert firsttime fixes. You will also manage the on-site Technician, and act as the escalation point for Technicians across the Trust. Strong expertise in Microsoft online platforms will be essential in maintaining a consistent and professional IT service across all schools.

About you

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is keen to apply their expertise and skills within an education setting. You will hold a recognised technician qualification at NVQ level 3 (or equivalent experience) and bring strong planning, organisational, and communication skills. An understanding of incident request and change management processes skills will support your ability to think creatively and deliver effective solutions to complex problems.
