Central Learning
Partnership Trust is a dynamic and thriving Multi-Academy Trust, proudly
encompassing 16 schools across all phases, both mainstream and special, located
in the vibrant communities of Wolverhampton, Rotherham, and Worcestershire.
Governance is essential in Multi Academy Trusts to ensure strong leadership, accountability and high educational standards. Directors provide strategic direction, oversee financial management and hold the leadership team accountable for delivering the best possible education for all pupils within an inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
About the Role
We are seeking to
appoint a highly organised, proactive and knowledgeable Governance

our Multi Academy Trust. This is a key strategic role, ensuring that governance
across the Trust is effective, compliant and aligned with statutory and
regulatory requirements.
This role will involve
working closely with the Chair of the Trust and Chief Officers, providing
expert advice on governance, constitutional and procedural matters, and
ensuring the smooth operation of the Trust’s governance structures.
The successful
candidate will be responsible to clerk all of the Trust and Local Governing
Body meetings. There are currently 4
Trust Board meetings, 6 Trust Committee meetings, 7 Executive Board meetings
and across the 16 schools in the MAT there are currently 30 Local Governing Body and Local Executive Governing
Body meetings
in one academic year. Meetings are
generally held via Teams, however in some instances, physical attendance may be
required.
There may be occasional
additional meetings (e.g. appeal panels, sub committees).
Outside of meetings,
this is a flexible, home-based role, allowing you to manage your workload
