About this Role

Salary: Directorate Bands 1-2. Points L1-L10 (£49,781 - £62,202)

Hours of work: 37hrs per week. 52weeks per year.

We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead the development and execution of internal and external marketing and communications across the Trust. This role will focus on delivering impactful brand management and communication strategies that elevate the Trust's presence. The Marketing and Communications Manager role is part of the Core Trust Team and works across all academies, becoming the go-to expert for school leaders on marketing and communications activities. The post holder will be managed by the Trust HR Director, collaborate closely with the Executive Board, and eventually line manage a team while building a cross-Trust Community of Practice for marketing and communications colleagues.


The Opportunity:

  • Take the lead in developing and executing innovative marketing and communication strategies across the Trust, making significant impact on both internal and external audiences
  • Drive brand management efforts for the Trust, ensuring consistent and engaging communication across the Trust, making a significant impact on both internal and external audiences
  • Play a key role in shaping the Trust's vision through effective and creative marketing initiatives, contributing to the growth and success of our academies


The ideal candidate:

  •  Be confident in writing, drafting and editing copy for websites, publications and marketing collateral
  • Have experience in creating managing and delivering communications campaign plans
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively influence
  • Have experience in website and social media management
  • Be confident undertaking line management and/or function management
