Academy Transformation Trust (ATT) is seeking committed and visionary individuals to join our Board of Trustees. This is an opportunity to influence thousands of lives and help deliver our ambitious ATT 2030 strategy.

Our mission is clear: by 2030, every individual who passes through an ATT school or college will leave capable, competent, and confident, ready to take their rightful place in the community of educated people.

The Role of a Trustee

As a trustee, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership and hold the Trust to account for delivering on our 2030 vision.
• Champion our commitment to high trust, high accountability, ensuring decisions empower local leaders while maintaining rigorous standards.
• Oversee performance, safeguarding, and financial sustainability.
• Advocate for our philosophy of Belonging and Becoming, ensuring every academy is both a steward of its community and a gateway to the wider world.

• Share our belief that education is a public duty and a cultural inheritance.
• Bring expertise in finance, law, HR, education, digital strategy, governance, or community engagement.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, and a commitment to equity and excellence.
• Are willing to dedicate time and energy to strategic governance.

Commitment

• Around six board meetings per year, plus committee work as required.
• Preparation and engagement between meetings to ensure informed decision-making.
