WHAT DOES A FOUNDATION DIRECTOR DO?
Foundation Directors help ensure that the Trust remains faithful to its Catholic mission, provides strong education for pupils, keeps children safe, uses public money responsibly, manages risk effectively, supports and challenges senior leaders, plans well for growth and sustainability, and makes decisions in the best interests of all schools in the Trust.

Someone committed to Catholic education; someone who can think strategically; someone who asks thoughtful, constructive questions; someone who works well as part of a team; someone with professional or community experience to offer; someone who wants to make a difference across more than one school
DO I NEED TO BE CATHOLIC?
ractising Catholics are especially encouraged to consider the role. Others with relevant skills and a commitment to supporting the Catholic character of the Trust may also be considered. Foundation Directors are appointed through the Diocese and are required to give a written undertaking to the Diocesan Bishop to uphold the Objects of the Company.
