We are seeking an exceptional, dedicated, and highly organised Data and Communications Lead to join our central team. In this role, you will champion our data systems, streamline our operations, and elevate our brand communication.

This is a unique and pivotal multi-faceted position designed for a strategic thinker who is passionate about data integrity, but who also possesses the leadership flair required to manage communications and trust-wide operations.

As our Data and Communications Lead, you will act as the ultimate authority on our Management Information Systems (SIMS/NovaT), line-manage our marketing team, oversee vital governance, and lead helpdesk operations.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Act as lead administrator for SIMS, NovaT, and 4Matrix. Construct the whole-school timetable, manage options blocks, process admissions (CTFs), and execute end-of-year system rollovers. 

  •  Run termly data drops from end to end. Deliver deep-dive analysis on attainment data (GCSE/A-Level) for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and governors. Lead all School Census returns and Department for Education (DfE) verifications. 

  • Line-manage the Marketing team. Develop and execute the Trust's internal and external Communication Strategy, including the production of weekly bulletins and newsletters. 

  • Coordinate executive, financial, and health & safety reports for Local Advisory Boards (LABs). Manage the central helpdesk, maintain the strategic Risk Register, and analyse stakeholder surveys.

  • Manage the master trust calendar and act as the Trust Well-being Lead, successfully integrating staff wellness initiatives across the organisation.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Advanced expertise in SIMS, NovaT, and school data analysis.

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering strategic communication plans.

  • A strong background within a UK school or Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and well-being.

  • A deep understanding and proficiency in Google Workspace.
