The role will enable the person to work flexibly and you must be highly organised to work for the Local Governing Boards. Meetings may require late afternoon/evening attendance at School and all meetings are scheduled in advance, with reasonable notice provided. The hours need to be flexibly used across the year as clearly there will be busier periods eg when leading up to meetings, than other times throughout the year.

You must;

  • have excellent communication skills and be able to manage your own time, balance a variety of responsibilities and prioritise tasks.

  • have good ICT skills (IT equipment will be provided);

  • Previous clerking experience is desirable but not essential as training and support will be provided. You must however have the skills to effectively manage information in accordance with legal requirements
