Greensand Multi Academy Trust is seeking a methodical, meticulous and analytical Trust Data Manager to lead the development, management and analysis of data across our Trust of schools.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled data professional to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, school improvement and statutory compliance across the Trust. Whether your experience comes from education, business intelligence, analytics or information management, we are looking for someone who can transform complex data into meaningful insights that drive improvement.

As the Trust Data Manager, the successful candidate will:

  • Lead the effective use of the Trust's Management Information System (Arbor), ensuring the highest standards of data accuracy, integrity and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain Trust-wide data collection and reporting processes.
  • Produce regular performance reports covering areas such as attainment, attendance, behaviour and safeguarding.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and visual reporting tools for school leaders, executive leaders and trustees.
  • Provide insightful analysis and bespoke reporting to support decision-making across the Trust.
  • Drive improvements in systems, processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and integration.
  • Support the Trust's digital and data strategy through the use of tools such as Excel, Power BI and AI-enabled technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and statutory reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience in data analysis, reporting and information management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with databases and data systems.
  • A proven ability to analyse complex datasets and present findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR, data protection and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use data visualisation and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and efficiency.

In addition, the ideal candidate will be:

  • Able to build strong relationships across Trust schools.
  • Solution-focused and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Confident in translating data into practical actions and recommendations.
  • Passionate about making a positive difference to outcomes for children and young people.

In return we can offer:

  • A fantastic working environment committed to collaborative working and high performance.
  • An excellent staff assistance programme with access to wellbeing and health initiatives, including counselling, physiotherapy, menopause and financial advice.
  • Membership of a local government pension scheme with very competitive employer contribution rates.

This is a part time term time position working between 1-2 days per week over 38 weeks per year (term time only). This is an office-based role working in our Trust office in the grounds of Reigate School, Pendelton Road, Reigate (a flexible working arrangement will be considered). The role may involve some travel to Greensand schools.

The closing date for applications is 9am on Friday 14 August 2026; however, please be advised applications will be considered upon receipt and we encourage interested applicants to apply as soon as possible.

The Greensand Multi-Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and applicants are required to declare all convictions and cautions, even those that are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules, to assess suitability to work with children. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to disclose information relevant to safeguarding and online checks will be completed prior to interview.
