About this Role

The University of Kent Academies Trust is looking for an organised, enthusiastic and customer-focused People Administrator to join our People Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in Human Resources. As part of this role, the successful candidate must be willing to undertake and successfully complete an HR Support apprenticeship during their employment. Full support will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.

As our People Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative support across the Trust's People function, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of HR services to employees and managers across our academies.

Working closely with the People Officers, you will support a wide range of HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, employee records management and compliance, ensuring all processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and professionally.

This role is for a 2-year fixed-term period and is offered on a term-time-only basis. This position is designed to support the completion of the apprenticeship programme alongside providing valuable experience within a busy People function.  Further development opportunities and a permanent role may be offered at the end of the term.
