The Orchard Learning Alliance was formed in 2022 and is now made up of 10 schools across Wokingham and Reading, with close to 5,000 young people and 700 staff. This is an opportunity to serve our community; to join a team who are dedicated to building and consolidating our multi academy trust after a period of rapid growth, to ensure our schools continue to provide exceptional educational opportunities for our communities and young people.

We would like to appoint experienced, non-executive director/ trustees from the following skill set:

Ø Secondary Education

Ø Change Management

Ø Climate Action & Sustainability

Ø Social Justice and Inclusion

Ø Safeguarding

Ø Estates Management

Ø Artificial Intelligence, Digital Services and Cyber Security

Ø Special Educational Needs

Ø Governance

Ø Young People’s Mental Health

We want to appoint Trustees to our Board to reflect the diversity of our school communities in terms of gender, ethnicity, age and disability.
