About this Role

Endeavour Learning Trust is entering an exciting phase of growth, therefore we are looking to appoint our new Head of Governance, Compliance & Risk to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation. This is a senior, strategic post for an experienced professional who can provide assurance, expert advice and system leadership across governance, compliance, risk management and data protection.

As a growing and ambitious Trust, we are committed to exemplary governance that not only meets statutory requirements but actively strengthens decision-making, accountability and ethical leadership. This role represents a clear step change from operational governance support to strategic oversight, influence and organisational maturity.

A key aspect of this role is building and sustaining strong, trusted relationships across the Trust. You will work closely with Trustees and Executive Leaders, Local Academy Councillors and Senior colleagues across the Trust and academies

You will ensure that all governance stakeholders are confident, well-supported and fully engaged in their roles within the broader governance framework, helping everyone to understand how effective governance contributes directly to improved outcomes for children and young people.

Why join Endeavour Learning Trust?

In this role, at Endeavour Learning Trust, you will have the opportunity to:

·         Shape and influence governance at a Trust-wide, strategic level

·         Play a critical role in a growing organisation with strong ambition

·         Work with committed Trustees, leaders and colleagues who value high-quality governance

·         Make a meaningful contribution to the success and sustainability of our Trust

If you share our values and are excited by this opportunity, please follow the guidance below for details on how to apply.

ROLE DETAILS

This position is full time and permanent, working 37 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm and Fridays 8:30am-4:00pm.

Due to the requirements of this role, work outside of these hours will be required, for example to facilitate Board Meetings. Endeavour Learning Trust promotes flexible working, and time off in lieu will be given where work is required outside of normal hours.

This role will be based at ELT Head Office and occasional travel between Trust schools and sites is a requirement of this role.
