Hadrian Learning Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic,
pro-active and adaptable person to fulfil the role of cover supervisor. This is
an exciting opportunity to work in two excellent schools where pupils ‘behave
very well, both in and out of lessons’ (Ofsted 2024). The successful candidate
will have the ability to build positive relationships and engage pupils
effectively to ensure they continue to learn in the absence of their usual
teacher. Staff involved in cover supervision will be expected to respond to
pupils’ questions and generally support pupils in learning activities in line
with schools’/trust’s policies and procedures.
Specific details regarding the role and skills and qualities the
successful candidate will need to demonstrate are in the attached job
description and person specification. In addition to this we are looking for
someone who:
·
Will form positive and constructive relationships
·
Consistently apply the routines and expectations of the schools
·
Be adaptable to the needs of the students
We welcome applications from those with all levels of
experience, including those wishing to pursue a career in teaching.
