Family Support Worker

West Witney Primary School and Nursery

Salary: Grade 8 £31,537 (FTE)

Contract type: Part-time, Term Time Only (19.5 hours per week)

Reporting to: Headteacher / Senior Leadership Team
Start date: September 2026

 We are seeking a compassionate, resilient and proactive individual to join our dedicated team in this exciting new role. The successful candidate will play a vital role in strengthening relationships between home and school, supporting children’s wellbeing and attendance, and helping families overcome barriers to learning. This role includes responsibilities as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), working closely with school leaders, staff and external agencies to ensure children and families receive the support they need to thrive.
