About this Role

CWA Basingstoke is committed to excellence, with exceptionally high expectations for every student. Supported by a dedicated and inspiring staff team, we create a nurturing learning environment where young people can thrive and achieve their full potential.

We are seeking a passionate and resilient Support Manager to play a key role in managing the behaviour and wellbeing of students with Social, Emotional, Communication and Interaction Difficulties (SECID). Working closely with the Support Team Lead, you will implement effective behavioural strategies, build strong relationships, and ensure consistent communication across the school community.

At CWA Basingstoke, we pride ourselves on:

  • Equipping students with vital life skills to become valued members of society
  • Preparing learners for Post-16 pathways with outstanding opportunities for growth
  • Delivering an inspiring curriculum that builds knowledge, skills and success
  • Offering rich experiences to enhance the cultural capital of our young people

This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual who brings empathy, resilience, and a commitment to making a difference. You will be instrumental in supporting students through challenges, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing fully to school life.

If you are driven, compassionate, and ready to go above and beyond for young people, we would love to hear from you.

Chiltern Way is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

We encourage early applications for this role and reserve the right to close the advert early should we interview and offer to an early applicant.

Chiltern Way Academy will comply with its obligations under the GDPR and other data protection legislation.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. We actively promote a culture where everyone is treated fairly and has the opportunity to thrive.
