Teacher of MFL -  French

Salary: MPS/UPS, plus £2000 recruitment bonus

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French to students from Year 7 to Year 11.  We are also interested in candidates who can teach up to KS4.  If you are passionate about MFL and want to make a real difference to the lives of young people we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

·                 Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels of ability.

·                 Assess and monitor the progress of students, providing feedback to students and parents.

·                 Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop scheme of work, resources and assessments.

·                 The ability to excite and inspire our students in their learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

·                 A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.

·                 Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.

·                 Experience of teaching French to GCSE (and preferably A-Level)

·                 A track record of achieving good results for students.

·                 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·                 A commitment to continuous professional development.
