Bedford
Inclusive Learning and Training Trust (BILTT) is excited to announce the
opening of our newly built, state-of-the-art facility - Rivertree Free School,
in February 2025. This school will join the others in our trust providing
education to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. Our Academies,
supported by the Trust, provide an environment which is welcoming, nurturing,
calm, safe and purposeful. BILTT’s vision is to continue to develop a high
performing SEND Multi Academy Trust that delivers the very best educational
experiences for pupils regardless of their starting points.
We
are looking for people who are passionate about working with children with
special educational needs and can work as part of a multidisciplinary
team, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve pupil outcomes.
Successful
applicants will provide high-quality
support to Rivertree pupils with autism, profound, medical and severe learning
difficulties who have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will work
closely with class teachers, therapists, and the SENCo to ensure pupils can
access the curriculum, engage in learning activities, and develop essential
skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Level 3
teaching assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential along with
previous experience working with children
with autism, profound and severe learning difficulties, or similar special
educational needs.
