About this Role

About this Role

We are looking for an outstanding and committed person to fill the position of Teaching Assistant and Forest School Lead within our busy school.  Our vacancy is for five days per week, 8.30am - 3.15pm.

Hagbourne CE Primary School is a single form entry school, situated in the lovely village of East Hagbourne on the outskirts of Didcot and currently we have just over 200 pupils on roll. The school had an Ofsted Inspection in 2019 and was rated ‘Good’ in all areas.  As a School we are proud of how our pupils engage in their learning and how intellectually curious they are.  Our pupils are well cared for in a supportive caring environment and as a school encourage the children 'Be the best they can be"

This role is to support teaching and learning as a Teaching Assistant in the classroom in the mornings, plus planning and delivering high-quality Forest School sessions across the school in the afternoons.  The role focuses on supporting children’s academic progress, wellbeing, and development through both classroom learning and outdoor, nature-based experiences.

Application process:  To ensure we conduct a fair shortlisting process we use blind shortlisting whereby personal information (such as name, email address, gender & ethnicity) are not made available to the short-listing panel.

Please note that the school reserves the right to interview on receipt of applications, and to appoint prior to the deadline, so early application is recommended.
