About this Role
We are looking for a cleaner/caretaker with pool operator duties to work 10.5 hours per week. Day/times to be negotiated with the successful candidate but will be within the needs of the school and the pool rental schedule.
Keep the school premises safe and secure for children, staff
and visitors.
Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs.
Support the upkeep of external areas including litter
collection, clearing drains, winter gritting and snow clearance.
Supervise and liaise with contractors and support other cleaning
staff as needed.
Complete routine Health & Safety checks, including fire
alarms, asbestos monitoring and legionella testing.
Follow cleaning schedule to keep school site clean and tidy.To maintain the swimming pool including chemical usage.
To keep pool area, changing rooms and toilets clean and
ready for hire.
To keep records required for pool testing.
To keep folder up to date with paperwork for the running and
hiring of the pool.
