About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, adaptable and committed Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our team on a fixed-term contract for one year, working 3 days per week (Monday–Wednesday).

This is a varied and rewarding role that requires flexibility, creativity and a person-centred approach to supporting pupils with complex needs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning opportunities for a pupil with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) within their home setting.
  • Plan and facilitate a weekly Tearoom session for a pupil accessing a bespoke curriculum package, promoting independence, communication and social interaction.
  • Deliver small group Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) interventions, supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and development.
  • Support the planning and delivery of Key Stage 4 enrichment activities, helping to provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences for all pupils.

We are looking for a colleague who:

  • Has experience of working with pupils with SEND, including those with complex learning needs and profound and multiple learning difficulties.
  • Is able to plan, deliver and evaluate personalised learning activities.
  • Can work independently whilst also contributing positively as part of a wider team.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for our pupils.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of our pupils through highly personalised provision. If you are passionate about inclusive education and enjoy working in a dynamic and rewarding environment, we would welcome your application.
