About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, adaptable and committed Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our team on a fixed-term contract for one year, working 3 days per week (Monday–Wednesday).

This is a varied and rewarding role that requires flexibility, creativity and a person-centred approach to supporting pupils with complex needs.

The successful candidate will:

Plan and deliver high-quality learning opportunities for a pupil with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) within their home setting.
Plan and facilitate a weekly Tearoom session for a pupil accessing a bespoke curriculum package, promoting independence, communication and social interaction.
Deliver small group Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) interventions, supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and development.
Support the planning and delivery of Key Stage 4 enrichment activities, helping to provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences for all pupils.

We are looking for a colleague who:

Has experience of working with pupils with SEND, including those with complex learning needs and profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Is able to plan, deliver and evaluate personalised learning activities.
Can work independently whilst also contributing positively as part of a wider team.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for our pupils.
