the successful applicant will have experience- in either a paid, voluntary or
in a personal capacity- to demonstrate:
1)
Performing
a caring/supportive role.
2) The
physical ability to continue to support secondary aged pupils through periods
of challenging behaviour strictly following the principles and procedures of
the school’s training programme (which prioritises avoidance of this need).
3)
Successful
experience of team work.
4)
The
ability to support pupils with changing/dressing including moving and handling.
5)
Physically
able to go in the water to support pupils under the supervision of the swimming
teacher.

difficulties is desirable but not essential. See the job description and
personal specification to understand the precise requirements for this post.
