It is an incredibly exciting time to be at Parkside School. We are a mainstream school with a fantastic, small resourced provision on site for 24 students. As part of the Wellspring Academy Trust (recently named Multi Academy Trust of the Year), we are on a brilliant journey together, complete with a fresh curriculum, a brand new pastoral coaching system, and a vibrant new uniform.
Our goal is simple: to make a real difference. We want our students to leave us as well rounded individuals who believe in their future and are brave enough to try new things.
We are launching our Talent Pool to find motivated, positive individuals for future opportunities. Whether you are looking for a permanent career path, a part time role, or a flexible relief role, joining our talent pool puts you at the front of the queue when roles open up.
Level 2 & Level 3 Learning Coaches (Permanent & Relief): Support our students to engage, focus, and thrive. You will work alongside class teachers to assist learners across the school, with a special focus on helping vulnerable students feel settled and successful.
Cover Supervisors: Looking to become a teacher in the future? This is the ultimate stepping stone. You will lead classrooms during short term teacher absences. The lesson plans are provided, but you get to bring the energy and personality to keep students on track. To support you, we attach you to a specific subject department that matches your strengths.
Exam Invigilators: Want total flexibility? Our invigilators keep our exam spaces calm, organised, and stress free. You will work as part of a friendly team supporting students through formal summer GCSE's and internal mock exam weeks.
We would also love to hear from people interested in joining our catering, cleaning, and estates teams who want to help keep our school running smoothly and looking great.
Clear Career Pathways: We don't just offer jobs; we build long term careers. Many of our current teachers and senior trust leaders started out right here as Learning Coaches or Cover Supervisors. If you want to train as a teacher down the line, we will fully back you.
Full, Expert Training: No matter your background, you will receive a comprehensive induction programme alongside ongoing, specialist development from our SENCO, experienced coaches, and department teams.
A Supportive, Team First Culture: Enjoy working within a school environment defined by approachable leadership and a close knit team. We value work-life balance - you get to make a life changing impact during the school day, and leave work entirely at the door when you head home.
When you register for our support staff talent pool, you aren't just joining a waiting list, you are positioning yourself at the front of the line for a rewarding career. When a suitable vacancy opens, our talent pool is our first port of call and our recruitment team will be in touch. We will keep you up to date with the latest news and activities within our school on a regular basis.
