About this Role

Serenity Education Group is a family of specialist independent schools dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). At Serenity School Maidstone, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive — academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are seeking an exceptional, visionary Headteacher to lead our talented team and drive excellence across every aspect of school life. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader who is passionate about inclusive education, committed to high standards, and ready to make a lasting difference in the lives of our learners.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide inspirational leadership, setting a clear strategic vision that ensures outstanding outcomes for pupils with SEN.

  • Foster a culture of inclusion, compassion, and ambition where pupils and staff feel valued and supported.

  • Lead and develop a strong, motivated team with a shared focus on teaching, learning, and wellbeing.

  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, local authorities, and multi-agency partners to ensure holistic support for every learner.

  • Uphold the values and ethos of Serenity Education Group – excellence from enrolment to graduation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proven track record of senior leadership within a special or mainstream school setting.

  • A deep understanding of SEN and the ability to drive continuous improvement in provision and outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others.

  • A leader with integrity, empathy, and unwavering commitment to pupil success and staff wellbeing.

Why Serenity?

At Serenity Education Group, you’ll join a forward-thinking organisation that values professional growth, collaboration, and innovation. We offer strong central support, clear development pathways, and the opportunity to shape the future of SEN education within a growing trust.

Join us in leading a school where every child is seen, heard, and celebrated.

Together, let’s make every moment of learning matter.
