About this Role

Are you a passionate and inclusive teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher (Semi‑Formal Pathway) to join our specialist provision, working closely with the Headteacher, SENDCo and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, child-centred education for pupils with a range of complex needs.

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher (Semi‑Formal Pathway), you will:

  • Plan and deliver inclusive, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEN, including autism, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties

  • Develop and implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans in collaboration with SENDCo and therapists

  • Use structured, multisensory approaches to support communication, emotional regulation, and engagement

  • Create a safe, nurturing and well-structured classroom environment

  • Monitor pupil progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to reviews and assessments

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals

About You

We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS/PGCE or equivalent)

  • Unqualified Teachers with relevant SEN experience

You will have:

  • Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEN (through placements or employment)

  • A strong understanding of inclusive practice and behaviour support strategies

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and professional development
