Serenity School Maidstone is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary Therapy Team, supporting children and young people with complex learning needs and EHCPs.

You will deliver person-centred occupational therapy, carrying out assessments, delivering interventions, and supporting students’ participation in learning and everyday activities. The role includes:
Providing clinical assessment and intervention
Supporting teaching staff with strategies and equipment use
Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCP reports
Advising on specialist equipment and manual handling
Working collaboratively across the school, families and external professionals
Offering supervision and guidance to junior therapy staff
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds a Degree/Graduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy
Is HCPC registered
Has experience supporting children with severe or complex needs
Communicates well and works confidently as part of an MDT
Can manage a varied caseload and deliver evidence-based interventions
Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion and improving student independence
