The Abbey School is seeking to appoint two highly effective Teaching Assistants to join the SEND Department. One to start from 20th April 2026 and the other to start from 9th March 2026.
We are seeking two compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in accessing learning and achieving their potential. You will provide tailored support, promote independence, and help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
This is a part time, permanent role, term-time only. Paid on the Kent Scheme pay scale, KSA top point (FTE £24,513.00 – actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £18,287.16 per annum).
The working pattern will consist of 32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
