The Abbey School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Teacher of Mathematics (Maternity Cover) to join the Maths Department, to start from April 2026.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our team. You’ll inspire students to develop confidence and curiosity in mathematics, delivering engaging lessons that help every learner reach their full potential.

This is a full time, fixed-term role, paid on the STPC Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale, dependent on experience. This position is fixed-term from April 2026 for one year, to cover maternity leave.

This post would suit an experienced or Early Career Teacher with good prospects for career development.
