A unique opportunity to shape something special
We are incredibly proud to be opening a new, purpose-built Inclusion Base in September 2026 - a calm, welcoming and carefully designed space that places belonging, relationships and personalised learning at its heart.
This is a forward‑thinking provision designed to:
- Support children who need a quieter, more emotionally‑attuned learning environment
- Deliver high‑quality, planned small-group teaching across a bespoke curriculum
- Strengthen children’s emotional regulation, confidence and readiness to learn
- Work in close partnership with families and professionals so that each child is nurtured, understood and able to flourish
It is rooted in the principles of NurtureUK, relational practice and inclusive education — a space that complements classroom learning and strengthens each child’s long-term success.
To help bring this vision to life, we are looking for a skilled, compassionate HLTA to join our team in the Summer Term, so you can help us shape, design and prepare the provision before it opens.
About the role
Working alongside the Headteacher, SENDCo, Nurture Lead and our NurtureUK-trained colleagues, you will:
- Help co-create a bespoke model of nurture and small-group teaching tailored to our pupils and community
- Lead high-quality, structured small-group teaching sessions that close learning gaps and build confidence
- Support children using nurturing, relational and strengths-based approaches
- Build warm, trusting partnerships with parents and carers, ensuring communication is open, supportive and collaborative
- Work closely with external professionals (such as Educational Psychologists, Family Support and Health) to ensure every child receives joined-up support
- Use assessment tools such as Boxall Profiles and Integration Scales to help plan provision and demonstrate progress
- Contribute to a provision that champions equity, inclusion and opportunity, particularly for our most disadvantaged pupils
We are looking for someone who:
We can offer:
- A brand-new purpose-built environment, opening September 2026, designed to meet the needs of small-group nurture teaching
- Dedicated time in the Summer Term to shape routines, curriculum and resources
- A leadership team deeply committed to belonging, inclusion and unlocking potential
- CPD including NurtureUK approaches, ELSA, Emotion Coaching and Trauma-Informed Practice
- A warm, dedicated staff team and a wonderful school community
Come and see our school for yourself
We would love you to visit and see first‑hand how special our school community is, and the care and thought that sits behind this new provision.
