About this Role
In
this role, you will design and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that
challenge and inspire students. You will oversee and develop a cohesive
curriculum for the subject area, ensuring compliance with statutory
requirements and embedding best practice throughout. As a leader, you will
mentor and support colleagues, guiding them in pedagogy and assessment, and you
will monitor student progress, using data to inform targeted interventions.
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS) with substantial experience in Modern Foreign Languages. You should have a proven track record of raising achievement through innovative teaching and data-driven strategies, combined with strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. A thorough understanding of statutory guidance and best practice in MFL, safeguarding, and personal development is essential. The successful candidate will be collaborative, able to work across the curriculum and with external partners, and passionate about empowering young people to thrive.
Location: The Priory School, Dorking
Salary: Main Pay Scale / UPS + TLR2A for lead responsibilities
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Start Date: September 2026
