About The Priory Church of England School
The Priory School, Dorking is at the heart of local life in Surrey, maintaining excellent relationships within our community. We’re also at the heart of the Enlighten Learning Trust, which maintains several academies, creating unique opportunities to share best practices and pioneer innovative approaches to learning.
We are recruiting staff with a real vision – people who see solutions and not problems. Right now, the school is on a significant journey: our most recent academic results were less than we hoped for, so we’ve embarked on a process of transformation with new processes and a whole new level of ambition. We are revisiting the heart of learning and building the best provision around contemporary educational research in order to achieve great outcomes for our children.
As a small secondary school in our area, we have built a unique sense of community based on our Christian values. This a place where everyone – students and staff alike – looks out for everyone else. Our children are exceptionally loyal to their teachers, yet that loyalty has to be earned, so you’ll need great people skills and a real passion for teaching and learning.
