Hours of work are casual as and when required for mock
and main examinations.
We
are looking to appoint Exam Invigilators to join our successful team assisting
with the administration and supervision of examinations at various times
throughout the academic year.
You
must be punctual, reliable, with good communication and a flexible approach to
work. Applicants need to have a calm and
authoritative manner and be able to work along side teaching staff and other invigilators
to promote a supportive atmosphere for our students so they can achieve their
best.
Right
now, we are on a significant journey: our most recent academic results were
less than we hoped for, so we’ve embarked on a process of transformation with
new processes and a whole new level of ambition. We are revisiting the heart of
learning and building the best provision around contemporary educational
research to achieve great outcomes for our children.
As a small secondary school in the area,
we have built a unique sense of community based on our Christian values. This a
place where everyone – students and staff alike – look out for everyone else.
Our children are exceptionally loyal to their teachers, yet that loyalty has to
be earned, so you’ll need great people skills and a real passion for teaching
and learning.
One of our greatest strengths is our
exceptionally rich extracurricular programme, including the Greenpower racing
team and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. In short, we do whatever it takes to
realise our pupils’ potential and we’re confident we’ll soon capture your
imagination.
If you are excited by an opportunity to make
a difference and join a school that is on a journey of rapid improvement with
the challenge and learning that brings, then we would love to meet and welcome
you to our team.
