Filey Secondary School
Filey School is a close-knit community, and we pride ourselves on
knowing all of our pupils well. We
understand how vital it is that students from Filey and surrounding areas enjoy
the benefits of an engaging and enriching curriculum offer that results in the
very best outcomes for them. We want them to be able to realise their full

are confident, community-minded young people who love learning and will be a
positive presence wherever they choose to go next.
We aim to ensure that our pupils can learn in a safe and supportive
environment, where everyone values academic achievement and has a positive
attitude to learning. Our recent Ofsted inspection acknowledged the improvement
journey that the school is on and we are fully committed to building on the
successes we are having for the good of our students. We place learning at the
heart of everything we do and believe that all students should have the
opportunity to feel proud of their achievements. As such, we believe in
rewarding pupils for good behaviour, attendance and achievement and run a
number of celebration events throughout the year.
