About this Role

Serenity School Crawley is looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join our inclusive and therapeutic learning community. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of complex needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and learning challenges.

We are committed to providing a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment where every child can thrive. You will work closely with our SENDCo, therapists, and support staff to deliver high-quality, individualised education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEN.
  • Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
  • Foster a safe, language-rich classroom that supports emotional regulation and holistic development.
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to ensure joined-up support.
  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and assessments.

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS, PGCE, or equivalent (unqualified teachers with relevant experience may be considered).
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary setting.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SEND strategies.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

You must be a qualified teacher with PGCE, QTS or recognised equivalent.
