About this Role

Would you like to join the staff team of an expanding Alternative Provision Multi-Academy Trust?

Daylesford Academy, part of the Solihull Alternative Provision Multi Academy Trust (SAPMAT) is an alternative provision where we provide innovative solutions for a number of students for whom mainstream education is simply not working (for a range of reasons). In our short lifetime thus far we have grown considerably and continue to expand as our provision evolves.

We are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant who could provide one to one learning interventions or support teachers with students in classroom settings.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A clear, consistent and relational approach to working with high-tariff and vulnerable students
  • A passion for pupil progress
  • High expectations and skill in raising standards (behaviour, attendance, academic progress)
  • A vision for obtaining the best outcomes for our students.

The Academy leadership team is determined to give our students the best opportunities possible to become successful, responsible citizens with the best life chances. This is an exciting opportunity for you to progress in an aspirational, therapeutic and innovative environment with students who need you.

If you are a team player who is interested in working with young people in an innovative classroom environment, perhaps with previous experience in an educational environment we would welcome an application from you.

In return, SAPMAT will offer you:

  • The chance to make a real difference in the lives of our children
  • A friendly and supportive team
  • Continuous professional development
  • The opportunity to grow your own career within the trust
  • Employee benefits including Staff wellbeing program
