Coombe House School is seeking a Generalist
KS3/KS4 Teacher to join our specialist provision, working with small
classes of pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). This role

reflective teacher with experience of KS3/KS4, strong inclusive practice and
the ability to adapt teaching creatively for pupils with complex SEND. The
successful candidate will demonstrate resilience, a commitment to professional
development, and consistently model the school’s values of kindness,
belonging and ambition. Experience working with pupils with complex presentations
including SEMH, ASC and associated needs.
Our school
Coombe House School is an independent special school for pupils aged 5–19 with SEMH, ASC, and complex needs, all with EHCPs. We take a therapeutic, relationship-based approach where behaviour is understood as communication. As an ASC-SEMH Teacher (KS3/4), you will work in an immensely rewarding, although often challenging environment, contributing to supporting the development of social, life and independence skills and truly making a difference in the lives of pupils.
