About this Role

Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator with an interest in supporting pupils with SEND? Do you enjoy working collaboratively in a role where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to join our friendly and supportive team as an EHCP Administrator / Co‑ordinator. This is a varied role combining specialist responsibility for EHCP coordination with wider administrative duties as part of the school’s shared services team.

About the role
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the effective coordination of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) across the school.

Working alongside a senior EHCP Co‑ordinator, you will be responsible for a designated cohort of pupils ensuring all documentation is accurate, up to date, and completed within statutory deadlines. You will liaise with staff, parents/carers, and external professionals to support the annual review process and wider SEND administration.

As part of the shared services and wider administration team, you will also undertake general administrative and reception duties during quieter periods, supporting wider school and company needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the annual review process for a designated cohort of pupils, ensuring statutory deadlines are met
  • Preparing, collating, and distributing EHCP documentation and reports
  • Liaising with parents/carers, staff, the Local Authority, and external agencies
  • Arranging and minuting annual review meetings and maintaining accurate records
  • Tracking the status of EHCPs and maintaining compliance with statutory processes
  • Supporting staff in completing reports and contributing to the EHCP quality cycle
  • Maintaining accurate pupil records within the school’s Management Information System (MIS), including Arbor
  • Providing general administrative and reception support
  • Contributing to school events, meetings, and administrative processes across the organisation

About you
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised administrator with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

You will be confident managing a varied workload, working to deadlines, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also have a genuine interest in supporting children and young people with SEND.

Experience within an education setting or familiarity with EHCP processes would be desirable, but not essential - training will be provided for the right candidate.

Starting salary (37 hours per week, term time+2 weeks – 41 weeks) is £26,436 per annum. This is a full time, term-time permanent position. 08:00–16:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:00–15:30 Friday.
