Job Role: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Milton Park Primary School, Eastney Road, Southsea, PO4 8ET
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Hours: 34.17 hours per week
Working times: 8.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 1.30pm Friday
Working weeks: Term-time only (39 weeks per year)
Commencement date: September 2026
Welcome to Little Sunlights Nursery - OPENING SEPTEMBER 2026!
Little Sunlights Nursery is a much-loved nursery now coming to Milton Park Primary School. We provide care and education for children aged from two to four years, term time only. Our setting includes daily access to our extensive outdoor space and unique links with the school.
Though the nursery is opening in September 2026, you will need to be available for some dates in August to assist with getting the setting ready to open.
The Ideal Candidate will:
· Genuinely love working with children
· Show a genuine passion for childcare and the ability to drive children's curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
· Build warm, professional relationships with families and carers
· Thrive in a collaborative team environment and be an excellent team player
· Demonstrate reliability and punctuality
· Have a Level 3 Early Years Qualification or above
